The Jitters: Last of the Red Hot Fools

The song title says it all – I wear it, own it, and OVER it! I believe that no one can punish us as we punish ourselves. With each passing day, my time spent in Limbo gets shorter and shorter.

Adele: Hometown

They say you can never go back home, this song brought me to the sweetest memories of what home means to me as I learn to carry these feelings while making room for new. The Fires of Limbo is about the strength possessed but not acknowledged.

Foster The People: Pumped Up Kicks

The series Fashion’d was created just for ‘kicks’ and as a reminder to myself not to take things…like fashion so seriously. I’m lovin the ’sing-a-long’ beat of this song.

This smooth and easy beat was all the comfort required while working on the Fashion’d series.

From the Art Series: Bleeding, Oil on Canvas (2011)

In Flower Essence Therapy the essential oils and the essence of the flower are used as a healing counterpoint. It is this relationship between the vibrations of their unique trait, personality or character with the human body that interests me. The idea of bleeding to heal is the inspiration for this series. I relate this concept to relationships in which individuals have given what they hold dear or value most, to others in hopes to heal the object of their affection. Unfortunately much like in plant therapy, without the right balance of vibrations and harmony with the soul, healing will not take place.
